As with any of the information you supply, your details are kept confidential by the FAIR Society and will not be shared with anyone, anywhere, at any time.
When you press the "Proceed with Payment" button below, you will be transferred to the secure server of Winbank (sponsors of this website) so that you can make a secure credit card payment of €15 (15 euros) to the FAIR Society fund for NEO research projects. Your Visa or MasterCard will be debited with the amount and will show on your next statement with FAIR Society as the beneficiary. Once processed, you will be returned to the FAIR Society website. Your transaction will be also be confirmed by email with a print friendly Membership Certificate. Acknowledgement of your contribution shows on the Members' List; URN, surname, first name, and nationality. Comment is shown (if given) on the Comments page - usually within 24 hours.
Why only a modest €15? Simply to avoid the accounting complications associated with monitoring fluctuating larger amounts.
It also seems FAIR that as our individual odds against an asteroid impact are equal, that the contribution should be the same for all. Bit like an insurance evaluation.
